dia tres - I am shot after a busy day (or maybe it was from being talked into trying cactus and corn fungus quesadillas at our late night dinner), but here are a few pictures...
We started the day at the biodiversity preserve to look for birds. The star bird specimen identified was the vermillion flycatcher which I was not able to photograph but will share a picture from stock footage when I get the chance.
A lizard with a bright blue neck and skin that included all of the colors of the rainbow stole the show.

These photos are in desparate need of cropping but will have to do for the time being.
Please help me identify this Mexican Lepidopteran.
These fruits are common and look like mini-watermelons growing on trees. They are actually closely related to the cucumber but are highly poisonous
